Köksmästeriet

Köksmästeriet is in charge of managing the kitchen at the Nations many events. As a member of Köksmästeriet, you will be tasked with planning the menues of sittnings hosted by the Nation, cooking food for the pub events and organize frunches. 

If your passion lies in cooking, or you just want to get into testing different recipies and spices, we highly recommend applying for a position at Köksmästeriet. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need for creating delicious meals.

Positions

Sittning chef - 2 st


Sittning chefs are tasked with creating suitable menus for sittings adhering to the concept of the sitting,
for example if it is a themed sitting. They have to communicate which supplies are needed to the PQS,
beforehand. During the sittings, sitting chefs are responsible for leading the kitchen and their
worker-team. This includes allergies, food quality, and work climate. Sitting chefs are also responsible for
the kitchen cleaning. As a sittning chef you will work at least 6 times spread out during the semester. You
may be asked to work at other kinds of events such as pubs.

Pub chef - 3-4 st


Pub chefs are tasked with creating food for the pub events. This is an important role, as we cannot legally
serve alcohol without prepared food. They have to communicate which supplies are needed to the PQS,
and find a team of workers, beforehand. During the pubs, pub chefs are responsible for leading the
kitchen and their worker-team. This includes allergies, food quality, and work climate. Pub chefs are also
responsible for kitchen cleaning. As a pub chef you will work at least 6 times spread out during the
semester. You may be asked to work at other kinds of events such as sittnings.

Fika foreman - 3-4 st


Fika foremen are tasked with creating food and pastries for the fika-events. They have to communicate
which supplies are needed to the PQS, and find a team of workers, beforehand. During the fikas, fika
foremen are responsible for leading the kitchen and their worker-team. This includes allergies, food
quality, and work climate. Fika chefs are also responsible for cleaning and closing. As a fika foreman you
will work at least 6 times spread out during the semester. You may be asked to work at other kinds of
events such as pubs.
